World of Glamour to a Soup Kitchen!?!


How does a person go from the glamour of high fashion (retail buyer and model) to being a humble servant of the Lord? How does a painfully shy person get the courage to “shout” the works of the Lord from the rooftops? What could possibly change life so radically? Paulette Renaudin has the answers! She has been on quite a journey since her Baptism in the Holy Spirit. Her experiences include a trip to the Holy Land with Immaculée Ilibagiza to working in one of Mother Teresa’s soup kitchens. Her life has definitely taken a 180º turn!

One of Paulette’s favorite scripture verses is listed below. It tells much about her relationship with the Lord. “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I dedicated you, a prophet to the nations I appointed you. ‘Ah, Lord God!’ I said, ‘I know not how to speak; I am too young’…To whomever I send you, you shall go; whatever I command you, you shall speak.” Jeremiah 1:5-7

Paulette has been married to her husband, Rusty, for 37 years. They have three beautiful children and two grandchildren. Paulette is a Lector, Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, Minister of Hospital Communion and a Prayer Group Leader in a nursing home. She also serves on the Magnificat Central Service Team. It should not be a surprise that the Lord placed Paulette, a Louisiana Master Gardener, in Magnificat, often referred to as Mary’s Garden! Wherever she goes, she blooms where she is planted. ♥

The following 4 area hotels have been very kind to offer a special Magnificat room rate to those who  are coming to our prayer meals and would like to spend the night or weekend in  the desert.   They are all quite close to the Indian Wells County Club where our meals are held.

In order to receive this special Magnificat rate, you  must talk only to the contact person listed below for each respective location.  Rates may vary between the  "winter" and "summer" season.  Most of them have several room sizes to  choose from (studio, 1 bedroom or 2 bedrooms) plus breakfast is included in  the room rate each morning!
